What is the mission of Utah WSF?
The mission of Utah Wild Sheep Foundation is to help put and keep sheep on Utah’s Mountains. We do this by promoting habitat conservation and enhancement, providing resources for population and disease management, education and advocacy, and responsible hunting.
How can I become a member of UWSF?
You can become a member of Utah WSF by visiting our website and purchasing an annual membership. You can set this to automatically renew or can choose to join on a one-year basis. You may also choose a life membership if you choose.
Can memberships be gifted to others?
Of course! If you’d like to purchase a membership as a gift, in memoriam, etc., please let us know in the order notes for the membership.
Where does UWSF’s funding, memberships, & banquet ticket costs go to support?
Utah Wild Sheep Foundation is a non-profit organization and all board members are unpaid volunteers. Money raised goes to support the following projects:
- Building & maintaining sheep guzzlers
- Disease protection (including fencing projects to prevent cross-contamination with domestic herds)
- Habitat expansion & improvements
- Anti-predation efforts
- Developing & supporting sheep nurseries such as the Antelope Island nursery project
- Transplantation projects
